Committee for Human Rights Documents

The Committee's mission includes involvement in current cases of human rights abuse. The establishment of operating guidelines prior to formation of the committee has provided a format which the committee has followed.

Over time, the Committee has developed working procedures for dealing with human rights cases. The Committee retains flexibility, but these procedures are usually followed.

In the course of its work, the Committee may generate, or commission, briefing documents pertaining to particular cases. These documents assist the AAA president in deciding whether and how to commit the AAA as an institution. Recent briefing documents are included here.

At the end of each year, the Chair of the committee puts out an annual report stating the previous year's activities in summary.
