Create Taxonomy

To create a new taxonomy, click Add New Taxonomy in the Manage Taxonomy. dialog. CommonSpot creates an empty taxonomy structure. Use the Add New Facet dialog and the Add New Taxonomy Term dialog to populate the new taxonomy with facets and terms.

This dialog displays the following fields:

• Name: Required. Enter a unique name. If you add a name that already exists, CommonSpot prompts for a new name. This field is not case-sensitive.
• Version: Required. Enter meaningful version information.
• Description: Optional. Enter a brief text description.
