One of the other benefits of enabling static content generation, beyond the obvious performance improvements, is the ability to invoke other interpreters, allowing you to embed ASP, .Net, PHP, Perl, CGI, and other modules into CommonSpot-generated pages. Since only one interpreter can run per request, you can only embed alternate script modules under the static sub-domain.
