Access the Manage Elements dialog by expanding Elements & Forms in the left panel of the Site Administration dashboard and clicking Elements. This dialog provides a central place to administer all standard and custom Elements for a site. Use this dialog for:
Use the Search dropdown to search by Element name, or use the Type dropdown to filter for Standard, Custom, Local or Global Custom Elements, or Elements saved under new names or categories.
Use the State and Category dropdowns to narrow Element display.
Click the edit icon
to display context-sensitive menus for modifying your site's Elements. CommonSpot displays a more extensive set of options for Custom Elements than for Standard Elements. Only Elements supporting render handlers display rendler handler options, as shown below.
In addition, CommonSpot makes copy and delete actions available for Custom Elements. You can optionally unlock imported Custom Elements.
Element options allow you to control an Element's attributes (such as name, description, and category), security, and the custom render handlers assigned to it.
Manage Elements displays the following options.

Edit Element. Depending on Element type, the Actions column displays a set or subset of the following options:

For Custom Elements, creates a copy of the current Element. |

For all Element types, displays options for changing the availability of the current Element. |

Add New Element |
Opens the New Custom Element dialog for creating a new Custom Element for your site. |
|
Import Custom Element |
Opens the Administrators Reference for Importing a Custom Element. |
|
View Usage |
Displays the Element Usage dialog for viewing the location of all Elements in use at your site. |
