Spell Check General Settings
Use the Spell Check General Settings dialog to configure spellcheck defaults for an entire site. Choose Admin - Site Admin - Authoring Tools - Spell Check Settings.
Enable Spell Check - Check to enable spellchecking for the entire site.
Enable User Lexicons - When checked, authors can add words to personal lexicons. If unchecked, authors cannot add words to the spell check dictionary. Personal dictionaries are accessible by individual authors only. To create additional generally available dictionaries, add lexicons through Manage Lexicon Sets
- Default State - Sets whether check spelling is enabled (checked), disabled (unchecked), or required (hidden and enabled) in dialogs that contain this option.:
- Default On - The Spell Check option displays for authors, and defaults to checked. Authors can optionally disable this feature.
- Enforce Spell check - Spell Check is always on, for all dialogs that enable spell checking. Use this feature to ensure that all content is always spell-checked. Selecting this option hides the Spell Check box for authors.
- Default Off - Spell Check displays unchecked. Authors optionally enable Spell Check.
