
The RACE Project’s "Race in the U.S.A." timeline currently is being featured on the MSNBC website as part of the Msnbc special report "Multiracial in America" from the web series, "Gut Check America: The Colors of Change."
The MSNBC special report "Multiracial in America" explores the growing number of multiracial individuals, couples and families living in America and the issues they face. The series includes stories, a video gallery, a discussion platform, and an interactive state-by-state map, in addition to the RACE historical milestone timeline.
The "Race in the U.S.A." timeline illustrates the interconnected story of race in society, science and government from the 1500s to the present. The timeline was prepared for the RACE Project's interactive website and is viewable in its original format at http://www.understandingrace.com/history/index.html.
