RACE Project Airs on Wisconsin Public Radio May 16

RACE: Are We So Different? will be featured on "The Kathleen Dunn Show" on Wisconsin Public Radio Friday May 16 from 11 am - noon EST.  AAA members Yolanda Moses and Michael Blakey will discuss the development of the RACE exhibit, as well as the role of race in the presidential campaign, the science behind skin color, and debates surrounding the use of race in health and medical research. 

Yolanda Moses is co-chair of the RACE project advisory group. She is vice provost for diversity and conflict resolution and professor of anthropology at University of California, Riverside.

Michael Blakey is NEH professor of anthropology and director of the Institute for Historical Biology at the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the RACE project advisory group and former member of the RACE national advisory board.
