AAA Summer
Internship Program Launches Congratulations to
Juliana Bennington and Melissa Campbell-McIntosh, who are
awarded with the 2011 AAA Summer Internship. Juliana, a senior
at Wheaton College in Massachusetts, will be interning
with the International Center for Research on Women. Melissa,
a junior at St. Mary's College in California, will be
interning at the Naval History and Heritage Command. Learn
more about the interns, their internships and this
new program.
List Your Organization's Program in
AnthroGuide
Don't miss the opportunity to list your
organization's program in teh 2011-2012 AnthroGuide. Listing
in the AnthroGuide increases your visibility among over 10,000
anthropologists, almost 500 academic programs and over 70
museums, government agencies and research firms. Don't be left
out! We have extended the May 31st deadline for submission
without a late fee through Friday, June 10th. A late fee of
$35 will be applied to all listings received after June 10th.
We will not accept any listings submitted after June 24th. Submit your
listing today!
Transformed AAA Photo Contest Opens in June
The AAA Photo Contest has returned! It will be open
for submissions June 15-August 15 and members will vote on the
winning photos starting in mid-September. The top photos will
be displayed during the Annual Meeting in Montreal. Guidelines
and details are available on the Photo
Contest webpage.

Smithsonian
The RACE: Are We So Different? exhibit opens
June 18th at the Smithsonian
National Museum of Natural History in Washington,
D.C. The exhibit will remain at the Smithsonian until January
