the AAA Resource Development Committee, which raised funds
specifically to help the Association provide more resources
for students and faculty and adjuncts charged with creating

AN Seeks Proposals on
Family and Kinship As notions of kinship and
family continue to evolve, AN asks, "What do
anthropologists have to say today about family and
kinship?" Proposals for
AN's April series on family and kinship are due
December 14.
2012 Visiting Professor Program
The Visiting
Professor Program (VPP) is a two-week fellowship for
professors of advertising, marketing, communications and the
liberal arts. The objective is to expose professors to the
day-to-day operations of an advertising agency, marketing or
media company; and to provide a forum for the exchange of
ideas between academia and industry. Professors chosen by the
VPP Selection Committee will be placed with host companies in
Chicago, New York City and other major cities.
