The AAA Annual Meeting is an exciting opportunity for news media to learn about current anthropological research, to hear new perspectives on current events and policy debates, and to gain a deeper understanding of human interactions in the US and abroad.  

The American Anthropological Association welcomes press coverage of the 2008 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, CA, November 19-23 at the San Francisco Hilton and Towers.

Professional journalists working or freelancing for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, film, wire services and online news sites can register for press credentials for the event by contacting the AAA Media Relations Office at 703-528-1902 x 3039, or jsteffensen@aaanet.org.

Press passes, kits and meeting programs will be available to registered journalists in the press room during the conference.  Other amenities will be announced later on this site. Watch for updates in Fall 2008.
