It's Not Too Late to Give the Gift of Anthropology

Linda Whiteford, Chair AAA Resource Development CommitteeDear Colleagues:

Do you want to make a difference? You can. Your support to the Association can be targeted to programs/projects that are important to you, as for instance, the Intern Program, or AAA educational outreach materials based on the Race museum traveling exhibit. Or you may make your contribution to the AAA Endowment and/or the Annual Campaign.

But do contribute--make a difference. Change people's lives. Help ensure that the American Anthropological Association provides valued services while expanding its programs and ability to act as the major voice of anthropology. Your gift to the American Anthropological Association provides a wider social benefit by assisting people understand issues such as human variation, biological diversity, race, religion, and globalization. And that changes lives.

Please make a tax-deductible contribution to the American Anthropological Association, and help ensure that our profession, with all its varied interests, continues to make a difference in the study and understanding of humankind.

Please take the time to contribute today by mail or fax (PDF) or online.

We also ask that you consider joining the AAA Legacy Society by including the AAA in your estate planning. You may contact either one of us, or Elaine Lynch, Deputy Executive Director, for further information.

With best wishes,

Linda Whiteford
Chair, AAA Resource
Development Committee

Planned Giving
Planned giving is an excellent way to make a meaningful gift to the AAA in the future while also fulfilling important estate planning strategies. Examples of planned giving include naming the AAA as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or IRA account. Life income gifts include charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. For more information about setting up your own planned gift with the AAA, please contact Elaine Lynch.
