The AAA Summer Internship Program is a valuable opportunity for anthropology students to experience careers in anthropology.
This program is exclusively member funded and is now in its third consecutive year.
During this six week program, two students will work with AAA and its partners - The Underwater Archaeology Branch of the Naval History & Heritage Command, the official history program of the Department of Navy and the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art.
The internships are unpaid; however, the students are provided housing and a meal/travel stipend. In order for AAA to provide this opportunity, your financial contribution is needed. There is a yearly cost of $4,000 to support each intern.
Please support the future of anthropology by contributing to the the career of a budding anthropologist. This program is proudly funded by AAA members, please show your support by making a financial donation today!
The Association for Feminist Anthropology (AFA) will be hosting a summer intern this summer and is also asking for financial contributions. Click here to make your contribution to AFA.
