Please find your annual income range below to determine your annual dues. $0 to $24,999 = $132 $25,000 to $49,999 = $158 $50,000 to $74,999 = $185 $75,000 to $99,999 = $210 | $100,000 to $124,999 = $245 $125,000 to $149,999 = $275 $150,000 and over = $300 | | Any person having a demonstrable professional or scholarly interest in the science of anthropology shall be eligible to be a Member of the Association. A professional interest in the science of anthropology is defined as a serious concern in the subject in accordance with the standards generally accepted in the profession, whether or not the interest is a source of livelihood. | | Student Membership | $0 to $29,999 = $69 $20,000 to $24,999 = $132 $25,000 to $49,999 = $158 $50,000 to $74,999 = $185 | $75,000 to $99,999 = $210 $100,000 to $124,999 = $245 $125,000 to $149,999 = $275 $150,000 and over = $300 | | Student membership is available to new and current members. Student members pay a reduced rate while enjoying the benefits of a full membership. Subject to annual verification, you may be required to send a letter to the AAA national office indicating your title and position using your employer's official letterhead to become eligible for or to continue your AAA memberships at this rate. Please note that consulting anthropologists are ineligible for Associate status. The countries listed in the chart below have been designated as "A" countries as classified by the World Bank Group. Permanent residents of these countries choose International A: Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bermuda, Brunei, Canada, Cayman Islands, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Faroe Islands, French Polynesia, Greece, Greenland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Macao, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Oman, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Western European countries, Staff of the: UN, USAID, Peace Corps, similar organizations. All international Members will receive the print edition of Anthropology News and online access to AnthroSource, a complete electronic archive of all AAA journals through 2003 plus current issues for 11 of the AAA's most critical peer-reviewed publications. NOTE: Individuals living in countries other than the US may elect to join at the regular Member rate (based on your income), and receive access to AnthroSource and subscriptions to the print edition of both Anthropology News and American Anthropologist (mailed via surface mail). | | International B Membership | Permanent residents of countries classified as "B" countries pay basic annual membership dues of $30. | Africa (all) South America (all) Central America (all) Europe: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine. North America: Mexico | | Life Membership | The life membership fee of US $4,000 may be paid in one lump-sum payment or in four equal annual installments. | Secure your future membership at today's rates. Life members will have access to all of the services and benefits offered to professional members. Life membership is available to new members and current good-standing members.
