As previously announced, in December 2008 AnthroSource will be re-launched with a newly designed user interface. The AnthroSource portal will be hosted on Wiley-Blackwell’s new content delivery platform and will conceptually replicate the AAA website. Said in other words, the design of AnthroSource pages will change to look more similar to the pages of the new AAA website.
The AnthroSource portal will function as a virtual storefront in that it will enable visitors to browse a listing of all journal titles, available volumes and issues of each journal, tables of contents for each issue, and abstracts for each article. Full-text content will be housed on the new platform. Members who have logged in via the AAA website will be seamlessly linked from article abstract pages to full-text content.
Additional resources to be available through the new interface include:
- Quick Search and Advanced Search functions
- Help/FAQ for user support
- Reprints and copyright permissions
- Information about AAA and our publishing program
- Instructions for becoming a AAA member or recommending AnthroSource to a librarian
