SCA @ AAA 2009 Philadelphia

In order to welcome the best proposals from the widest range of section members, SCA does not accept proposals for invited sessions in advance of the general AAA deadline. The SCA Program Chair for the 2009 Philadelphia meetings is Danilyn Rutherford.

In its review of individual paper and panel proposals, SCA looks for evidence of ethnographic, narrative, and/or theoretical innovation, alongside the Society's hallmark commitment to interdisciplinarity by way of fresh approaches to anthropological canons.

SCA Spring Meetings

SCA holds a small spring conference every other year in charming locations.The next SCA Spring Meeting will be held in 2010.
