AFA is excited to report that Rachel Nuzman, a graduating senior at Saint Mary’s College of California, will be AFA’s AAA Summer Intern in Washington, DC. The application process was highly competitive and we are confident that Rachel will do an outstanding job compiling a history of AFA to mark its 25th year as a AAA Section. With research and museum studies experience, Rachel is getting a double major degree in Anthropology and English and a minor in Women and Gender Studies; she has interests in gender, language, and culture. Rachel will be supervised in her AFA research and writing project by AFA President Jane Henrici. If you haven’t done so, there’s still time to donate to the AFA Summer Internship Fund, here. Individuals contributing at the $100 level or above will receive a copy of one of our AFA publications.
