University of Oregon. The Department of International Studies invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor to begin September 2014 in the field of Global Political Economy with an emphasis on Globalization and Development. We seek a scholar who holds a Ph.D. by the time of appointment and whose expertise addresses one or more of the following: economic globalization and international political economy and human development. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to the interdisciplinary exploration of contemporary issues in international studies and enhance the diversity efforts of the department as well as the university. Candidates must have a high degree of proficiency in a language appropriate for their regional specialization. The annual teaching load at the undergraduate and graduate levels is five courses in International Studies on the quarter system.
