TT Assistant Professor in Sociocultural Anthropology (Law or/and Capitalism) — University of California, Davis

 
The Department of Anthropology at the University of California, Davis invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning July 1, 2014. We seek a sociocultural anthropologist whose work critically interrogates capitalism or/and law. Geographical area is open. Teaching is based on a standard faculty load of four one-quarter courses per year. A PhD in anthropology or a related discipline is required prior to the beginning of the appointment service period start date. Candidates will also need to be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.
