The Department of Sociology and Anthropology at DePauw University invites applications for a one-year term appointment in anthropology to begin August 2012. This appointment includes the possibility of a second year, contingent on satisfactory performance and continuing need. Ph.D. preferred, ABD considered. Prior teaching experience and a commitment to undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts setting are essential. Expertise and primary focus in teaching cultural anthropology required. Teaching will include introduction to cultural anthropology, ethnographic methods or anthropological theory and elective courses in an area of specialization. Geographic area of specialization is open, although particular attention will be given to candidates with expertise in Latin America.
