The 92nd anniversary meeting of the Central States Anthropological Society (a section of the American Anthropological Association) will be held April 4-6, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, MO. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Missouri St. Louis Department of Anthropology, Sociology and Languages. You are cordially invited to participate in this meeting, which is typically attended by over 300 professional anthropologists and students.
BOOK EXHIBIT RULES
Exhibit hours are 3-6 PM on Thursday, April 4, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM on Friday, April 5, and 8:00 AM-2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5. Set-up is 1-3 PM on Thursday, March 22; tear-down is 2-3 PM on Saturday, March 24.
Publisher’s displays will be located centrally and will be in a room which can be secured overnight.
There is no charge for table space. Tables will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Space is limited and publishers will be limited to one table apiece. The deadline for reserving space is March 11, 2013.
If a press sends a representative to the conference he/she will receive a badge at no cost.
Unaccompanied books and order forms will be grouped onto tables by student volunteers. Unaccompanied titles will not be returned; they will be donated to the student volunteers. (If requested, student volunteers can collect order forms and mail them to the press; see accompanying exhibit contract for details.)
Individual authors wishing to display books may do so as well. Authors must be registered for the conference in order to be permitted to display their titles. Authors must collect their books (and their order forms) by the beginning of tear-down time. Any books not retrieved will be donated to student volunteers
