SACC Student Award for Creativity, Leadership, or Community Service

 

Description: This prize recognizes an exceptional student who has made an outstanding

contribution to the academic or local community by demonstrating creativity, leadership, or

community service.

 

Prize: $250, and registration fee waived to attend SACC’s annual spring meeting.

 

Level of Study: Student must be an undergraduate in a two- or four-year college.

 

Submission Procedure: Faculty member must submit a written recommendation of no more than five pages, sent as an email attachment, for an exceptional student who fits the above criteria.  The faculty member must be a SACC member or active participant in SACC activities.

Application Submission Deadline: December 15, 2014

 

Selection will be made in January 2015. The winner will be announced at SACC’s 2015 annual meeting, March 2 – 5, in Kauila-Kona, Hawaii.
