Organization
Terms for officers and members-at-large of the Executive Committee begin from the annual meeting of the AAA. The officers and members for 2012 are:
- President, Janet Hoskins, 2012-2013
- Immediate Past President, Margaret Wiener, 2010-2011
- President-Elect, Joel Robbins
- Secretary, Hanna Kim, 2011-2012
- Treasurer, Amy Stambach, 2011-2013
- Student Representative, Adam Dunstan, 2012-2013
- Members-at-Large, Maarit Forde (2011-2012), Jonathan Hill (2011-2012), Paul Johnson (2012-2013), Lauren Leve (2012-2013), Jacob R. Hickman (2013-15), Amira Mittermaier (2013-15), and Joseph Hellweg (2012-2013).
The Executive Committee also may appoint non-voting ex-officio members from time to time to help with the management of SAR. Currently, they are:
- Book Series Editor, Laurel Kendall
- Anthropology News Column Editor, Jennifer Selby
- Webmaster and Listserv Moderator, Jordan Haug
