4th Annual Roseberry-Nash Student Paper Award
CALL FOR PAPERS 2009
We invite submission of papers for our Fourth Annual Roseberry-Nash
Student Paper Contest. The award will be presented during the AAA
meetings in Philadelphia, December 2009. The paper should draw on
relevant anthropological literature and present data from original
research in any field of Latin American and Caribbean anthropology.
Contestants must be enrolled in a graduate program in Anthropology
at the time of submitting the paper and not have conducted their
final defense of their dissertation before the deadline of submissions
to this award; paper length must be between 4000 and 6000 words;
text may be in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish; and contestants
must have student membership in the Society for Latin American and
Caribbean Anthropology. The paper should be submitted before July
1, 2009 to Susan Paulson, Jury Chair of the Roseberry-Nash Award.
